Since 2011 Raphael has regularly accompanied Contemporary, Ballet and Graham dance technique classes at York University. He Also fills in regularly at The Claude Watson School for the Arts and the Toronto Dance Theater outreach program.

Lila - Dancing Music Playing Dance

Lila in Actioin

Raphael is a co-founder of the emerging music and movement company, Lila Ensemble. This group uses the expressive potential of free and structured improvisation to explore the interface between music and movement. In July 2012, Lila returned from their first European Tour and in 2013 toured eastern Canada. See www.lilaensemble.com for info

Colin Anthony's 'This is a held note and other stories'

Raphael is participating as a dancer in this project by Colin Anthony. The project integrated poetry, story, dance and music within an improvised structure.
